Having a hearty bounce on these inflatables is not only fun but also has therapeutic properties.

It is an efficient way of stress relieving and is utilized in the education and training of physically as well as mentally challenged children, for instance, the children diagnosed with Down’s syndrome or autism. Considering all the above-mentioned qualities many people opt to buy a bounce house for their personal use. These inflatable structures are indeed expensive and require special care and attention to be stored properly. This article discusses some efficient tips and tricks to store, clean and maintain these to prevent them from damage.

The inflatables need to be stored properly. They need to be deflated properly and no air should be in the inflatable when you intend to store them and keep them away for a while. The place where they are kept is also very important. The place should be dry and clean. The temperature there should be balanced as well. These inflatables are mostly made of polyester and other fibers derived from plastic. If kept in a moist or wet place they tend to develop mildew and mould. If stored at a very high temperature the plastics tend to melt and become prone to developing leakage. If stored at a very low temperature the plastic loses its elasticity.

The inflatables need to be cleaned properly and sanitized after every use prior to storing them. Use only the cleaners that are recommended and allowed by the manufacturers. Do not use harsh detergents or even dishwashers as they degrade the plastic used in the structuring of the inflatables and the sealant that is responsible for holding the air in it is damaged. Keep bleach away from them unless extremely diluted as it tends to eat away the fabric they are made out of. If there are no prominent or adamant stains then only rinse the inflatable using clean room temperature water. If you find some stains that you are unable to remove using water then use the recommended cleaner and rub the stain gently and refrain from scrubbing.

It is important to not forget the inflatables bounce house after storing them. They need attention and regular care as well. You need to take them out of the storage bag at least once in two months to hang them in the open air and in sunlight. Do not leave the inflatable in the sunlight for too long otherwise, you will put them at risk of melting. Doing this sanitizes them automatically and kills any bacteria that might have developed in it.
